Nikola Đukić

Nikola Đukić is a Grandmaster and FIDE Trainer from Montenegro. His most important results include ten titles of the Montenegro Champion, wins in several strong international tournaments (Bucharest 2002, Belgrade 2003, Zenica 2013, Portoroz 2017, Podgorica 2021...) and the title of the Balkan Champion (Skopje 2023).

He has represented Montenegro in seven Olympiads and eight European Championships, mostly on the first board, beating many top players in the process. He has become a GM in 2005. His peak rating was 2574. He's been working as a trainer since 2012. His students have won numerous titles and medals in youth and junior championships of Montenegro. Some of them have managed to become the members of the Montenegro national team. He's been awarded the title of FIDE Trainer in 2017.
